Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 3 September 2026
Our accessibility commitment
Positive Thinking Therapy wants people to be able to access information, enquire about services and use the website with dignity and as much independence as possible.
We aim to improve the website with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2 Level AA, recognising that accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time claim of perfect compliance.
Accessibility features we aim to provide
The website is designed and maintained with the intention of supporting:
- keyboard navigation;
- visible keyboard focus;
- clear headings and logical content structure;
- readable text and sufficient colour contrast;
- meaningful link and button labels;
- text alternatives for informative images;
- form labels, instructions and understandable error messages;
- responsive layouts that can be enlarged and used on different screen sizes; and
- content written in clear, respectful language.
Known limitations
Some third-party features—such as booking interfaces, video-conferencing services, maps, embedded content or security checks—may be controlled by external providers. Their accessibility may vary and may not be fully controlled by Positive Thinking Therapy.
Before publication, the final live website should be tested by keyboard and with automated accessibility tools. Any verified limitations should be listed here with a practical alternative and an intended remediation timeframe.
Requesting assistance or an alternative format
If part of the website is difficult to access, please tell us what page or feature you were using, what problem occurred and, if you are comfortable doing so, the browser, device or assistive technology involved.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information or booking pathway in another accessible format. You are not required to disclose a diagnosis or disability to request assistance.
Use the protected contact method on the Complaints & Privacy Enquiries page. If email is not accessible for you, an alternative contact pathway should be offered on the live page.
Feedback
Accessibility feedback is welcome and will be used to prioritise improvements. We aim to acknowledge accessibility enquiries within a reasonable period and explain what action can be taken.
Review
This statement will be reviewed when significant website or service changes are made and after material accessibility issues are identified.
